Tine Helleshøj

Tine Helleshøj works across painting, collage, spray paint, gouache, and drawing—seamlessly blending techniques into layered, narrative works often centered around the female experience.

Her career began with a televised group exhibition in 1998, and her style has evolved continuously since.
Her recent pieces combine natural dyes, eco and rust printing, and modernist influences, resulting in dreamlike works that echo both nature and inner life.
Figures—mostly women—move through surreal or contemplative spaces, framed by emotion and suggestion.

Helleshøj’s art is poetic yet sharp, emotionally open yet visually complex. Themes of identity, vulnerability, and transformation are always close at hand.
