Julien Deiss

Julien Deiss is a French contemporary artist known for his interdisciplinary practice that bridges painting, sculpture, and installation. His work often explores the relationship between the organic and the constructed, combining natural materials with industrial processes to evoke themes of transformation, decay, and rebirth.

Deiss draws inspiration from both urban environments and the natural world, creating poetic juxtapositions that challenge the viewer's perception of space and time.
His minimalist aesthetic is layered with texture and subtle narrative, inviting contemplation rather than confrontation. Deiss has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows across Europe, and his work is held in several private collections.
Whether working on large-scale installations or intimate objects, he maintains a consistent focus on materiality and form.
Julien Deiss’s artistic vision is rooted in a deep sensitivity to the world around him—his works serve as quiet meditations on impermanence, memory, and the traces we leave behind.
